Bue Sky

This animation studio was founded in 1987 by Chris Wedge. Some of the studios known animations are 'Bunny' and 'Ice Age' helped spread the fame of Blue Sky.

 This short animation won an Oscar for best short animation and I would agree because there are nice transitions and detail on the bunny, however these are only small things the major one is the lighting effects, Blue Sky invested a lot in this area and made a software which simulates how light behaves on digital surfaces and objects, and it works really well in this short film and looks amazing.

3D animation Maya tutorial 1 Truck

For our new brief we are making 3d animations.

So the first tutorial in Maya (3d animation program) I followed a tutorial on how to make a basic truck I found this fairly alright and to me felt like I was making a truck for a video game or similar.

 This is the truck by following the tutorial and I'm happy with it, however at the end of the tutorial our tutor asked to add things, and save it as a new project which was the modded truck and this is what mine came out as.

I felt a lot happier when I was making the mods/extras because I wasn't following the tutorial however without that tutorial the extras wouldn't have been possible. 

Overall I feel like this is defiantly going to be a good module and I can't wait for the next tutorial.

Borderlands 2

I played the first game and loved it so much for its comedy and something completely different, and now the the second one, the teaser trailer for it was absolutely correct in every way.

I love this game so much because it is just amazing, Firstly they have improved all of the characters and there skills, and made them good for both solo and co-op play. Secondly they have more interaction within the game and made a little backstory for each of them which can be found within the game. Finally the main enemy Handsome Jack, he is the best villain I have seen in a while!
Small spoiler but this is quite funny and must of been hard to make up!

Overall this game is awesome and I would highly recommend it.

Halo 4

Well I'm quite the fan of the halo series and when Bungie left and it was just 343 ins who owned it I was sure if I should buy the game or not but I did and in my eyes the Story to me is quite boring, however the idea I thought was great therefore I think the campaign was rushed. The multiplayer well that is a different case, because they have done a very good job of keeping it all balanced which I find great and love. Finally the graphics, they have had a major boost since halo reach and the new design for the armour does remind me of the crysis and the character's main suit a lot.

Overall I did enjoy the game I liked the idea of the story not the way it was told. the graphics and the new engine work great together.
